ATLAS boosted object reconstruction for hadronically decaying Higgs, W, Z, top

Many searches have heavy particles (Higgs, W and Z bosons or top quarks) reconstructed in a large-R jet, since Lorentz-boosted (high pT) and decaying hadronically. Sumario:Many searches have heavy particles (Higgs, W and Z bosons or top quarks) reconstructed in a large-R jet, since Lorentz-boosted (high pT) and decaying hadronically. In order to discriminate these from the QCD multi-jet background also merged in a large-R jet, three large-R jet taggers are derived at ATLAS. They have been validated. Recommendations for working points and systematic uncertainties are being used by analyses using Run II datasets.
