Sumario:A direct search is presented for a scalar boson produced in association with a Z boson and decaying to invisible particles. The scalar boson in the reference signal is assumed to be a standard-model-like Higgs boson for the production rate with $100\%$ braching fraction to invisible particles. The search is performed in a sample of proton-proton collision data at a center-of-mass energy of $13~\mathrm{TeV}$, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $2.3~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$, recorded in 2015 by the CMS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider. No deviation from the background expectation is observed and limits are set on the product of the Higgs boson production cross section and its branching fraction to invisible particles.
