Study of cold nuclear matter effects using prompt $D^0$ meson production in $p\mathrm{Pb}$ collisions at LHCb

The measurements are performed using $D^0$ candidates with transverse momenta $p_T$ less than 8 GeV/$c$ and rapidities in the ranges $1.5 < y{^*} < 4.0$ and $-5.0 < y^* < -2.5$ in the nucleon-nucleon centre-of-mass system. The integrated cross-section, the forward-backward production ratio and the cold nuclear modification factor are determined for this sample.
