Sumario: | This article announces the formation of a Swiss DECUS (DEC Users Group) Network SIG in May 1990. The goal of this SIG is to help Swiss DECnet managers to plan transition from their proprietary DECnet Phase IV networks (e.g. the HEP/SPAN DECnet) to open networks based on DECnet Phase V/OSI. The SIG also proposes to address integration with UNIX based workstations using the Internet's TCP/IP protocols. |
