Sumario:The production of prompt isolated photons at hadron colliders provides a stringent test of perturbative QCD and can be used to probe the gluon density function of the proton. The ATLAS collaboration has performed precise measurements of the inclusive production of isolated prompt photons in 20.2 /fb of data collected at a centerofmass energy of 8 TeV and in 6.4 /pb of data collected at a centerofmass energy of 13 TeV, differential in both rapidity and the photon transverse momentum. The measurements are compared with stateoftheart theory predictions at NLO in QCD and with predictions of several MC generators. The production of inclusive jets at hadron colliders provides a stringent test of perturbative QCD at the highest energies. The ATLAS collaboration has measured the inclusive jet production cross section in 78 /pb of data collected at a centerofmass energy of 13 TeV. The measurement have been performed differentially in jet transverse momentum. The results have been compared with stateoftheart theory predictions at NLO in pQCD, interfaced with different parton distribution functions.
