Searches for Heavy Diboson Resonances at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV with the ATLAS Detector

Several beyond the Standard Model (BSM) theories predict resonances decaying to pairs of vector bosons: WW, WZ, and ZZ. This poster presents four searches for heavy diboson resonances in final states with jets (ννqq, lνqq, llqq, and qqqq) which have been carried out in 3.2 $\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ of $\sq...

description Several beyond the Standard Model (BSM) theories predict resonances decaying to pairs of vector bosons: WW, WZ, and ZZ. This poster presents four searches for heavy diboson resonances in final states with jets (ννqq, lνqq, llqq, and qqqq) which have been carried out in 3.2 $\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ of $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV data collected by the ATLAS experiment in 2015, as well as a combined search. No significant excess is found in the combined search. Upper 95% confidence exclusion limits on resonance masses of 2650, 2500, and 1100 GeV are set for spin 0 (scalar singlet), 1 (heavy vector triplet – HVT), and 2 (bulk RS graviton) signal models.
