Sumario: | Since the Higgs boson was discovered in 2012, its many production modes and decay channels have been studied. Currently, the sensitivity of the $H\rightarrow b\bar{b}$ channel is not high enough to confirm an observation. Improving the statistics for the search for a $H\rightarrow b\bar{b}$ decay with an associated $Z\rightarrow \ell\ell$ decay has reached a limit due to the feasibility of possible methods. A study on including events with associated Z decays that have one lepton in the forward detector is presented. The boosted decision tree performance on samples with forward leptons is analyzed, and the possible benefits of including forward lepton events are discussed. |
