Los secretos de las particulas : la fisica fundamental en la vida cotidiana : ciclo de conferencias 2014

To coincide with the commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the creation of CERN in 2014, the BBVA Foundation and the nuclear research organization have jointly organised a lecture series called The Sercret of Particles : Fundamental Physics in Everyday Life. The main objectives of this lecture series, organised jointly by the BBVA Foundation and CERN, are to raise awareness of the benefits of science to society, present the current and future challenges in the field of particle physics and show the technologies used in major scientific facilities such as CERN. In particular, the lectures examine the role of CERN and the Spanish National Plan for Particle Physics in the promotion and development of new technologies and the optimisation of industrial returns.
