Search for single production of vector-like quarks decaying into a W-boson and a b-quark at 13 TeV

A search for singly produced vector-like quarks decaying into Wb with one lepton and jets final states using data collected by ATLAS at 13 TeV in 2015 will be presented. The search employs a high-transverse momentum b-tagged jet, a forward jet originating from the initial-state quark and no other jet activity in the central region of the detector. No significant excess over Standard Model backgrounds is observed and upper limits on the cross-section times branching ratio and couplings are set.
