Sumario:This thesis presents a method for unfolding the observed charged particle distributions produced from proton-proton collisions at a centre of mass energy of $\sqrt{s} = 7$ TeV at the LHCb detector. These results will help to constrain the parameters phenomenological particle production models and Monte Carlo event generators, and help to provide insight on the mechanisms behind particle production, especially in the soft QCD regime
