description An overview of recent top quark measurements in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt s$ = 7, 8 TeV in data collected with the CMS and ATLAS experiments at the LHC, using a data sample collected during the years 2011 and 2012 is presented. The results include measurements of the $t \bar{t}$ spin correlation, the top pair charge asymmetry, and the cross section of $t \bar{t}$ events produced in association with a W or a Z boson. The mass of the top quark is measured using different methods. Some results on the same topics are also presented in data collected by the CDF and D0 collaborations at the Tevatron collider.
