Electroweak production of single {\em W} and {\em Z} bosons in ATLAS and CMS

Results on the production of single {\em Z} and {\em W} bosons with two jets at high invariant mass at a centre-of-mass energy of 8 TeV are presented using data corresponding to 20.3 fb$^\mathrm{-1}$. Integrated and differential cross sections are measured in many different phase space regions with...

description Results on the production of single {\em Z} and {\em W} bosons with two jets at high invariant mass at a centre-of-mass energy of 8 TeV are presented using data corresponding to 20.3 fb$^\mathrm{-1}$. Integrated and differential cross sections are measured in many different phase space regions with varying degree of sensitivity to the electroweak production in vector boson fusion by both ATLAS and CMS. The results have also been used to derive limits on anomalous triple gauge couplings in the single {\em Z} production.
