Study of rare B-decays with the CMS experiment
The Flavour Changing Neutral Current decays $B \rightarrow K^{*} \mu^+ \mu^-$ and $B \rightarrow \mu^+ \mu^-$ provide high sensitivity to New Physics contributions. Sumario: | The Flavour Changing Neutral Current decays $B \rightarrow K^{*} \mu^+ \mu^-$ and $B \rightarrow \mu^+ \mu^-$ provide high sensitivity to New Physics contributions. Sensitive observables include the muon forward-backward asymmetry, the fraction of $K^*$ longitudinal polarisation, and the differential branching fraction. We will report the recent results from CMS on these states. |
