description A dedicated experiment has been proposed by the SHiP Collaboration, to study associated charm production and decay of charmed hadrons. In this thesis we report the first design of such an experiment. This work has been carried out within the Naples neutrino group that participates to the SHiP experiment. The aim of the experiment designed in this thesis is to measure the differential associated charm production cross sections with respect to the angular and energy spectra of charmed particles. This measurement could give the acceptance of the SHiP detector for hidden particles and tau neutrinos, which are produced from charmed hadron decays.
