Search for $Z^{\prime }$ Resonances Decaying to Tau Pairs in pp Collisions Using CMS Detector at the LHC

Many theories beyond the Standard Model predict the existence of additional heavy gauge bosons such as $W^\prime $ and $Z^\prime $ . In this talk, we will present the results for the search of neutral heavy gauge boson Z’ boson $Z^\prime $ decaying to a pair of tau leptons predicted by Sequential St...

description Many theories beyond the Standard Model predict the existence of additional heavy gauge bosons such as $W^\prime $ and $Z^\prime $ . In this talk, we will present the results for the search of neutral heavy gauge boson Z’ boson $Z^\prime $ decaying to a pair of tau leptons predicted by Sequential Standard Model and Topcolor-assisted Technicolor models. This search has been performed using the pp collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.2 fb$^{-1}$ collected by the CMS detector at the LHC center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV.
