Sumario: | A subset of soft QCD results of the ATLAS and CMS Collaborations is presented. The
\mbox{phenomenology} of the underlying event is briefly discussed, followed by a selection of results of ATLAS and CMS in p+p collisions at 13 TeV. The main conclusions found by both experiments are summarised, and prospects for future tunes outlined. Next, double parton
scattering is succinctly introduced, and measurements at ATLAS and CMS are presented in
p+p collisions at 7 and 13 TeV respectively. The ATLAS search was performed using four-jet
events, while CMS exploited the same-sign WW channel. No significant deviations between
the measurements and model predictions were observed. |
