Production of Electroweak Bosons in association with jets with the ATLAS detector

The production of photons as well as W and Z bosons in association with jets provides a stringent test of pQCD and can be used to validate generators based on multi-leg matrix elements matched to a parton shower. Moreover, the processes are sensitive to the proton structure. In this talk, we present the detailed studies on the dynamics of isolated-photon plus one-, two- and three-jet production in pp collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 8 TeV and if available at 13 TeV. We also present detailed studies on the inclusive and differential cross sections for events containing a W and Z bosons in association with up to seven jets at a center-of-mass energies of 8 and 13 TeV. All measurements are compared to the most recent perturbative QCD calculations and to state-of-the art MonteCarlo generators.
