Sumario: | A search for the Heavy Higgs in lepton + jets final state is presented. The heavy Higgs bosons are produced in an associated production to take into account the interference with the SM tt events, and are analyzed in lepton + jets final state. The analysis uses 36.47/fb of pp collision data collected by the ATLAS detector in the Large Hadron Collider at 13 TeV center of mass energy. The analysis takes advantage of the high jet multiplicity of the signal events, and the different kinematics of the Higgs’ final states to distinguish signal from background events. The Boosted Decision Tree(BDT) was used as a classifier to further increase the discriminating power between the signal and background events. The discriminating power of the BDT is observed to be directly proportional to the Higgs mass. |
