Measurement of the Higgs boson mass in the $H\rightarrow ZZ^*\rightarrow 4\ell$ and $H\rightarrow\gamma\gamma$ channels with $\sqrt{s}$=13TeV $pp$ collisions using the ATLAS detector

The mass of the Higgs boson is measured in the $H \rightarrow ZZ^* \rightarrow 4\ell$ and in the $H\to\gamma\gamma$ decay channels with 36 fb$^{-1}$ of proton-proton collision data from the Large Hadron Collider at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV and recorded by the ATLAS detector in 2015 and 2016...

Sumario:The mass of the Higgs boson is measured in the $H \rightarrow ZZ^* \rightarrow 4\ell$ and in the $H\to\gamma\gamma$ decay channels with 36 fb$^{-1}$ of proton-proton collision data from the Large Hadron Collider at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV and recorded by the ATLAS detector in 2015 and 2016. The measured value in the $H \rightarrow ZZ^*\rightarrow4\ell$ channel is $124.88 \pm 0.37$ GeV, while the measured value of $m_H$ in the $H\to\gamma\gamma$ channel is $125.11 \pm 0.42$ GeV. The value of the Higgs boson mass obtained from a simultanous fit to the invariant mass distributions in the two channels is $124.98 \pm 0.28$ GeV.
