Sumario:Using time differential perturbed angular correlation of γ rays, we investigated the electric field gradient for different annealing of defects and local oxygen configuration with Hf as a probe in EuTiO3. The measurements were performed at ISOLDE-CERN. The results, combined with ab-initio calculations, support the assumption that the electric field gradient for this system is determined by the trapping of defects for different charge states of Eu.
