description A wide program of studies on heavy flavours is performed with the ATLAS detector. Production cross sections have been measured for hadrons with b and c quark, and for quarkonia states. The talk will discuss recent results on observation X(3872) state and its production rates including psi(2S), J/psi+J/psi prompt production (including the extraction of the double-parton-scattering component), and on the kinematical correlation in B hadron pair production, studied through their inclusive decays to J/psi and muons, respectively. Exotic states containing b and c quark have also been studies, and the talk will report on the searches for structures in the invariant mass of J/psi+hadron in the decay products of Lambda_b, and in the mass spectrum of Bc+ decays.
