description In Time-Differential Perturbed Angular Spectroscopy, local hyperfine fields are probed through the observation of perturbed decay time spectra of an intermediate excited state in a 𝛾-ray cascade. At ISOLDE Materials and Life Science groups, the data acquisition and evaluation is done using the program Interlude. However, Interlude had numerous outstanding bugs and issues, which have now been removed. During the construction of the observable function with the raw data, a systematic bias was identified in the fitting algorithm, and significantly reduced through the addition of a more complicated fitting function. Steps were taken to generalising the program for a variety of end users and input file types, with aim to share the program among users and publish a paper on it in early 2018.
