Sumario:Searches for scalar, Higgs-like particles beyond the Standard Model --- as well as non-standard decays of the newly discovered scalar with a mass of 125 GeV (h125) --- with the ATLAS and CMS detectors at the Large Hadron Collider are presented. Extensions of the SM scalar sector are ubiquitous in new physics scenarios, and motivate a wide variety of experimental searches at the LHC. Signatures mentioned include those sensitive to new higher- or lower- mass scalars or pseudoscalars in two-Higgs doublet models (h/A/H); new particles leading to Vh resonances (where V is a SM vector boson); pair production of h125 from a new, higher-mass particle (di-Higgs); charged Higgs bosons (H+/- or H++/--); lepton flavor violating decays of h125; new, high-mass scalars decaying to V+photon or di-photon final states; exotic decays of h125 to light, intermediate particles that decay to SM final states; and either h125 or new scalars decaying to new long-lived particles that yield atypical detector signatures.
