description Hadronic signatures, as one of the cornerstone in the ATLAS physics program, are facing a challenge of a higher luminosity conditions during Run-2 of LHC. Such signatures, ranging from generic jets from quark and gluon to jets originating from the decay of massive particles, are recorded via triggering mechanism in ATLAS detector. As an addition, missing Et (MET) from non-interacting partilcle provides a unique probe in the search for new physics. This poster highlights the development of jet and MET triggering strategy that are employed by the ATLAS experiment in 2017/2018.
