Sumario:The prospects of a search for a massive resonance produced through vector boson fusion and decaying to a pair of standard model Higgs bosons at the high luminosity LHC at CERN is explored. Simulated events from proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 14 TeV collected by the upgraded CMS detector are used. Both the Higgs bosons are assumed to decay to a b quark-antiquark pair, each. For a high mass resonance, the Higgs bosons are highly Lorentz-boosted and are each reconstructed as a large-area jet. The signal also contains two energetic jets in the forward regions of the detector. The expected signal significances for a bulk graviton in warped extradimensional models, having a mass between 1500 and 3000 GeV and a narrow width compared to its mass, is presented, assuming a cross section of $1~\mathrm{fb}$, for a data set corresponding to an integrated luminosity of $3.0~\mathrm{ab}^{-1}$.
