Sumario:Recent results relevant for the characterization of double parton scattering are presented by the CMS experiment. These results include studies of complex final states like multiple jets (including b-tagged jets); vector bosons accompanied by jets; and same-sign vector boson pairs, at various LHC energies in proton-proton collisions. Evidence for DPS processes is provided by comparisons with phenomenological models. Cross sections of various DPS processes are measured, or an upper limit is set; and a translation to the effective DPS cross section parameter within the factorization assumption is given, including a comparison of numerous results from other experiments and accelerators.
