Sumario: | Studies of W/Z boson production allow to test the Standard Model high-order QCD and EW predictions, as well as to test the known PDFs and constrain the PDFs in unexplored regime. The ATLAS collaboration has performed the measurement of the triple-differential cross section for the Drell-Yan process $Z/\gamma^*$ as a function of $m_{\ell\ell}$, $y_{\ell\ell}$ and $\cos\theta^*$ defined in the Collins-Soper frame using 8 TeV data. In addition, we present the results of measurements of the production cross section of a Z boson in association with jets at 13 TeV using 2015 dataset, as well as measurements of the production cross section of a W boson in association with jets using 8 TeV data. The cross-section for the production of two jets in association with a leptonically decaying Z boson is also measured using 13 TeV dataset. All the measurements are compared to different SM predictions and good agreement is found. |
