Sumario:This collimator has the goal of protect the other LHC's components from the beam-losses. The project High Luminosity increase the energy of the beam, then increase the temperature of the collimator. In this report we explained some proposal to keep the deformation induced below the acceptable values. With this information of the ANSYS simulations we got a explanation of the behavior of this system, which is very usefull to make new designs.
