description | The HRMT45 module undergoing the last checks during its installation at the HiRadMat TNC facility before getting ready to take beam. The fast connections at the bottom of the support table allow the power supply of the motors and the instrumentation as well as the communication with the acquisition system located in the shielded TT61 area. The water supply is also done via quick connectors, in order to obtain the necessary flow for cooling down the device during the experiment. Additionally, the tank must be connected to a primary vacuum pump to ensure a stable vacuum level at all times, especially upon high intensity beam shots when the graphite material inside the tank outgasses the most. The HRMT45 test was successfully completed on 25th August at 3:30 am |
