Sumario:In this report, ATLAS single electron and single photon triggers have been validated for the Monte Carlo production campaign (MC16e) meant for 2018 data analyses. Electron trigger efficiencies have been measured with respect to the offline reconstructed electron candidates using the Z → ee tag-and-probe method. Photon trigger efficiencies have been measured with respect to the offline reconstructed photon candidates using the bootstrap method. No background subtraction is applied. Trigger efficiencies are close to 100% and are characterized by sharp turn-on curves. Slightly lower trigger efficiencies are observed in data due to the background contribution.
