Sumario:In this report a search for heavy long-lived charged particles is performed using the ALICE detector at the LHC. Data collected in 2015, 2016 and 2017 at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV from pp collisions are examined. Candidates for exotic particles are selected by requiring associated high energy loss measurement and low velocity. Observations are found to be higher than expectations for background processes in the candidates region. The results of the search are used to estimate the cross section for production of these particles. The Event Displays for the most promising candidates show unusual behavior, however it is still not clear if it can be interpreted as an error in the reconstruction process or a hint of the existence of exotic particles.
