description The ART TrigP1 Integration Tests are used to validate the nightly builds of the ATLAS software to be deployed at P1 (AthenaP1), and to integrate parts of the HLT code developed offline for online usage. As of June 2018, the HLT code was tested on build machines (lxplus) using the emulator athenaHLT, which is a single processor software that processes events sequentially and runs an Athena instance. A better emulator, runHLTMPPy, was developed over the summer as part of the author’s CERN Summer Student Project together with Cenk Yildiz. This emulator uses the HLTMPPU software, which employs the multi-processing paradigm and can be used to validate forking, which occurs at P1. To improve the overall emulation of the HLT, and the validation and integration of code developed offline for online use, the ART TrigP1Test Integration Tests have been migrated from athenaHLT to HLTMPPU as part of this project. In addition to describing the details of the runHLTMPPy emulator, this report will provide an overview of the nightly tests and information on the status of the migration.
