description The primary goals of the summer project have centred around TFM measurements of stave samples and edge-Transient Current Technique (eTCT) CAD design, along with various secondary tasks. TFM measurements were performed on the Manchester Ring, SLIM double flat and Longeron triplet stave samples. Further, a list of items used in the TFM setup was compiled. Interviews were conducted with members of the CERN Gas Group regarding such thermal measurements and they suggested modifications to our current setup, along with teaching us how to compute various properties of the CO_{2} coolant using REFPROP. The CAD model of eTCT consists of the entire setup embedded within a large copper box, and a dry air enclosure newly designed to house the DUT at three different orientations relative to the laser beam.
