Sumario: | ATLAS detector records almost a billion proton-proton collisions that take place every second. Those collisions produce such huge amount of information that is not possible to be processed at the same velocity, and this makes necessary to implement some filtering process to select only the most potentially interesting events. The Trigger and Data Acquisition (TDAQ) Team in ATLAS is in charge of implementing this trigger system as well as for the read-out, transport and storage infrastructure of the ATLAS Data Center. As part of my Summer Student Program, I collaborated with the DAQ team building an application that visualizes the DAQ Network Topology, a useful tool to provide a representation of part of the ATLAS Data Center topology. |
