Sumario:The search for Higgs boson pair ($HH$) production is at the core of the ATLAS experimental program, as it probes the Brout-Englert-Higgs mechanism, as well as new physics beyond the Standard Model. Based on the proton-proton collision data recorded by the ATLAS experiment at CERN's Large Hadron Collider in 2015 and 2016, three public results on the search for $HH \to bbbb$, $HH \to bb\gamma\gamma$ and $HH \to WW\gamma\gamma$ were recently released and are summarised in these proceedings.
