Searches for singly charged Higgs bosons in ATLAS
Recent ATLAS searches for charged Higgs are presented. This includes searches for $H^{\pm}\to\tau\nu$ and $H^{\pm}\to tb$ for $90 \leq m_{H^{\pm}} \leq 2000~\text{GeV}$ and $200 \leq m_{H^{\pm}} \leq 2000~\text{GeV}$, respectively. Sumario: | Recent ATLAS searches for charged Higgs are presented. This includes searches for $H^{\pm}\to\tau\nu$ and $H^{\pm}\to tb$ for $90 \leq m_{H^{\pm}} \leq 2000~\text{GeV}$ and $200 \leq m_{H^{\pm}} \leq 2000~\text{GeV}$, respectively. Finding no significant deviation from the background-only hypothesis, 95% confidence level model independent limits are set on the charged Higgs production cross section times its branching ratio into these final states. These limits are interpreted as a 95% exclusion region on $m_{H^\pm}$ and $\tan\beta$ in the $m_{h}^{\text{mod-}}$ and hMSSM benchmark scenarios. |
