Sumario:In todays Physics the Standard Model has proven to give the best and the most accurate description of what our world is build from and how the building blocks, the elementary particles, behave. However there are still some phenomena, that remain unknown, and that cannot be explained in the frame of the model, at least not in the form that is known today. The fact that they exist gives us the idea that there are more things to be discovered. What are the dark matter and dark energy, what is their nature, how do they interact with the known matter, these are all questions the Standard Model cannot answer. Finding an explanation for this phenomena, new and more specific experiments are being made, focusing on the search for new particles, their behaviour, and their interaction with the known ones.
