ASSEMBLING THE MCP POWER SUPPLY BOXES WITH THEIR CIRCUIT BREAKERS AND DEVELOPING PCB 6229 BREAKOUT

The uses of MCP power supply box is to generate more electrons using high voltage input power and to obtain the radial profile of charged particle plasmas by using a phosphor screen. Five MCP power supply boxes needed to be assembled for the development of a new detector at ALPHA Experiment. After assembling the wires, the MCP boxes need to be tested to determine the linearity of the power input with power output and to ensure the wire connections. Since MCP power supply boxes run with high voltage up to 5000 V, it can be safe by connecting them with their circuit breaker. The circuit breakers were constructed with nine reverse-biased Zener diodes and a high voltage cable. The circuit breakers also need to be tested to ensure the connection and to determine the potential barrier for each circuit breakers. A device that designed to separate the pins from NI 6229 to individual pins by using BNC and PCB. There are 136 pinouts from two 68-connector, which is easier for the user to choose either digital or analog that they want to use in a moment of time instead of used all pinouts from 68-connectors.
