Sumario:We studied the relation between impedance and instability data. Beam coupling impedance can cause beam instabilities and thus be an intensity limitation for particle accelerators [1][2]. Impedance models have been developed for CERN machines, notably for LHC. Instabilities induced by impedance can deteriorate the beam quality. This is the reason instabilities and impedance in LHC are studied. However, neither the impedance nor the instability data are easy to access and analyses are done with static plotting tool. Our goal is to develop a tool which can plot these data interactively on a website, which is more accessible and easier to use. In order to achieve this, the Bokeh[3] library is used in our project, and generates modern web pages in a quick and easy way with Python. This tool would allow experts but also external users to visualize the machine’s impedance and instability observables. Beam instabilities are unstable bunches oscillation, which may lead to particle losses, beam size increase, equipment damage. The systematic tracking can improve machine performance for LHC and better understand stability limitation. My work is concerned in instability data, to make it easier to use by plotting it interactively in HTML pages.
