Measurement of CP violation in the decay B⁰→Dπ at the LHCb experiment

The measured CP asymmetries are Sf = 0.058 ± 0.020 (stat.) ± 0.011 (syst.) , Sfbar =0.038±0.020(stat.)±0.007(syst.). These results are more precise than and in agreement with previous determinations from the Belle and BaBar collaborations. Using these values, constraints are placed on the CKM angle 𝛾 and the CKM quantity sin(2𝛽 + 𝛾). The obtained confidence intervals are consistent with the current world-average values. |
