Sumario: | Since the start of operation of the CERN-LHC, its experiments are achieving a new frontier in colliding energy, allowing detailed studies of the Standard Model. Part of the physics interests of the CMS Collaboration has been focusing on the forward region to investigate energy distributions and proton tagged events. This letter reports the results in Forward Physics obtained by the CMS Collaboration during the past years, following previous results that show the success of the CMS detector in exploring this region of the phase space. The main results reported here are the study of differential distribution in the forward region and the recent results of the first measurement of dilepton production with tagged protons in the CERN-LHC, employing the information collected with the novel forward sub-detector Precision Proton Spectrometer of CMS. |
