Sumario: | A radiation test campaign was carried out at LPSC GENEPI2 (14 MeV neutrons) and ILL D50 (thermal neutron) facilities in order to evaluate the potential use of the beams for Single Event Effect (SEE) characterization of microelectronic components for the Accelerator Technology Sector (ATS) at CERN. Devices that had already been qualified in similar radiation environments were tested as a means of cross-calibration. In this note, the facilities and beam properties are introduced, as well as the comparison results with similar facilities, and an evaluation of the representativeness of 14 MeV for SEEs induced at higher energies (i.e. up to 200 MeV). |
