Derivation of the Energy Loss for a Particle passing through an Equipment, from both Beam Impedance Concepts and Electro-Technical Theory
This note will show that the energy lost when a beam moves through an equipment, when calculated with the wake field approach (which is a beam impedance concept), is the same as when calculated with electro-technical theory.
