Sumario:Prototype detector modules for the CMS "HGCAL" (High Granularity Calorimeter) phase-II upgrade project. The modules are based on 6-inch hexagonal silicon sensors, glued and wire-bonded to PCBs contining Skiroc2-CMS front-end ASICs. Single modules and arrays of seven modules (both shown) were used in beam tests at CERN in 2018, to test calorimetric performance for electrons and charged pions.
