Open heavy flavor and quarkonia in heavy ion collisions at HL-LHC

The projected performance for heavy flavour hadrons and quarkonium measurements in the high luminosity phase of the LHC in pp and PbPb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{_\textrm{NN}}} = 5.02$ TeV is presented, focusing on $\textrm{J}\kern-1pt/\kern-2pt\psi$ and $\Upsilon$ states (including the elliptic flow $...

Sumario:The projected performance for heavy flavour hadrons and quarkonium measurements in the high luminosity phase of the LHC in pp and PbPb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{_\textrm{NN}}} = 5.02$ TeV is presented, focusing on $\textrm{J}\kern-1pt/\kern-2pt\psi$ and $\Upsilon$ states (including the elliptic flow $v_2$), as well as B$_\textrm{s}$ mesons and $\Lambda_\textrm{c}^+$ baryons. Projections for the nuclear modification factor of B$^+$, B$^0$ and B$_\textrm{s}$ mesons in pPb data at $\sqrt{s_{_\textrm{NN}}} = 5.02$ TeV are also reported.
