Sumario:The final-focus system demagnifies the beams down to nanometer sizes in order to achieve the nominal luminosity. Such a delicate system is sensitive to imperfections and the process of bringing the imperfect system to nominal performance is called tuning. In this report we consider static imperfections and a tuning procedure consisting of beam-based alignment for correction of the linear system followed by sextupole alignment and tuning knobs for the sextupole and octupole magnets.
