We are now faced with two primary themes: (1) the movement from complete risk aversion EEE parts methods to managing and/or accepting risk via alternate approaches; and, (2) using emerging assurance methods to reduce overdesign, such as model-based mission assurance (MBMA) and other Small Mission concepts. While these topics are primarily geared towards aerospace, there is significant overlap and mutual benefit for harsh environment ground-based applications.</p> <p>Coffee will be served before the seminar.</p> <p><span style="color:#000000">Organisers: Ruben Garcia Alia (EN-STI &amp; R2E), Markus Brugger (EN-EA), Enrico Chesta (IPT-KT).</span></p>
