Sumario: | The Standard Model of particle physics has provided a remarkable description of experimental results across a wide energy range, but nevertheless is regarded as a low energy effective theory. Several open questions, such as the Higgs Hierarchy problem and the nature of Dark Matter hint that new physics could exist at an energy as light as the electroweak scale. Supersymmetry (SUSY) is a proposed extension of the Poincar\'e symmetry group that predicts partner particles for each SM particle. In its minimal realization, SUSY naturally stabilizes the Higgs mass and provides a weakly interacting Dark Matter candidate. This talk will give an overview of recent searches for electroweak SUSY with the ATLAS and CMS detector using Run 2 data collected at a center-of-mass energy of 13~TeV. |
