Sumario: | The Worldwide LHC Computing Grid is constituted of more than 150 sites distributed all across the globe, linked through state-of-the-art networking, providing some 500PB of disk storage, some similar amount of Tape storage, and more than 700k cores. The LHC Computing has been a fundamental part to enable the experiments reaching their physics goals during Run1 and Run2. For Run3 and Run4 there are challenges ahead for the LHC experiments, which plans to scale up of an order of magnitude their data taking rates. |
