New physics searches in SM standard candles

Measurements of VBF and VBS processes (together with VV) allow to draw conclusions also on the presence of new physics models - be it through indirect constraints via EFT operators or using results from these measurements to directly constrain specific models. The presentation discusses which approaches are used by the experiments and by outsiders to use SM measurements of electroweak bosons to search for beyond the SM signals.
